OUR HISTORY

In the Colombian Amazon, El Escondite Nature Reserve is much more than a place; it's a dream come true.

It was born from the desire to bring life back to a territory that was once used for livestock farming and now thrives as a haven for biodiversity.

Cada rincón de nuestras 124 hectáreas cuenta una historia de regeneración: árboles que vuelven a crecer, aves que regresan a su hogar y un ecosistema que se fortalece con cada nueva vida que encuentra refugio aquí. Protegemos la selva no solo porque es nuestro hogar, sino porque sabemos que cada árbol, cada río y cada especie importa.

Our commitment is to offer a space where nature and people meet in harmony. We want our visitors to not only explore, but also connect with the essence of the jungle. From walking among giant trees to observing unique species, we seek to inspire admiration and respect for this ecosystem.

We are committed to responsible and regenerative tourism, creating transformative experiences. Every trail hiked and every sunrise heard amidst the songs of more than 390 bird species is an invitation to discover the magic of the Amazon and be a part of its preservation.
